Little Cabin Company has been established in Fernie BC to manufacture little cabins that can be used for a whole host of uses and in most situations will not require a building permit.he
The unique cabins have been designed to enable up to 4 people to sleep comfortably. Construction exceeds BC and National Building Code of Canada standards and they are designed to last.
The unique design configuration allows for a variety of uses including additional office space, home studio, bedroom, meeting space or glamping. Constructed with high insulation values to offer year round usability, cool in summer and very easy to heat in the winter. In addition, the cabins are wired to plug straight into a 120 volt power supply and come with low voltage recessed lighting, power sockets and can be heated extremely efficiently.
The Little Cabin Company is also looking to establish “Glamping” locations in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. This will offer land owners the opportunity to tap into a growing market with excellent profit margins and quick payback periods.
Rachel Cline, President of The Little Cabin Company said, “This idea was really a meeting of minds and we are very excited to offer our product to Western Canada and North America.
Unlike some other products in the market, the high R value insulation and the build quality means that the cabin is suitable and safe to use for overnight accommodation, plus in most instances it won’t require a building permit.”
“Our flagship model, The Cobby, is available for $24,995.00 + shipping and is delivered fully assembled and ready for use. All the purchaser has to do is decide on a space, do some basic ground preparation and we can deliver to site and position quickly and easiliy.”
